This section is an cooperation between Climate 2010 and Climate Funds Update.

The list of funds is based on work undertaken by the Overseas Development Institute, leading to the report New Finance for Climate Change and the Environment.

The table below provides you with a general description of the available funds. In this respect, one might ask:

How much money has each fund been pledged, how much has it received and how much has it used?
"Which are the largest funds, in terms of pledges and deposits?
Which countries have pledged most to the climate funds, and which least?
Which countries have deposited most in the climate funds, and which least?

Furthermore, there have been a number of proposals submitted to the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) aimed at generating additional revenue for climate change through action in the carbon market, or carbon or international travel taxes or levies. Which 'new and innovative' funds have been created?
